Guest at your room in Roosevelt Hospital.

On October 27th, 2008 the following was an entry into the Roosevelt Hospital guest book:
Dear Mrs. Alexander:
We left Lakewood, New Jersey, at 4:05am and got to Roosevelt Hospital for surgery by 5:30am. By 8:00am, I was so tired. This room is "just what the Doctor ordered". I had a place to myself, peace and quiet and time to daven.
Yasher Koach for a room so well stocked with kosher food. Many many thanks. May we be Zoche to meet Moshiach BemHairah BeYamainu!
Family of a patient at Roosevelt Hospital.

The following is a poem which was written into one of our guest books in one of the hospitality rooms.

Knowing that I’d be spending Shabbos here,

Plenty of food, L’Kovod Shabbos I did prepare –

Enough for both me and the patient to share.

A volunteer came by “Good Shabbos” to say –

And showed us this room – “…by the way….”

I surprised myself by taking a thing or two,

And later came back for another few.

Not just food and a couch….reading material and more,

You’ve truly presented an all encompassing store.

Thank You! Thank You! From both of us,

May Hashem pay you back plus, plus, plus….
