North Shore University Hospital

North Shore University Hospital at Manhasset, New York, will be joining the Yehuda Memorial Center family on April 8th, 2009. The hospital is proud to host a Yehuda Memorial Jewish Hospitality room which will be ready for use over the Pesach holiday. The official opening celebration party will be held after the holiday on Thursday April 23, 2009. The room is located at North Shore University Hospital at Manhasset, 300 Community Drive, Manhasset, New York, 4 Tower.
 


 

Montefiore Medical Center Joins the Yehuda Memorial Center

On January 26th, 2009, Yehuda Memorial Center opened up its eight room at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx. The Jewish Hospitality room is located on the first floor of the
Rosenthal B, South Pavilion at 111 East 210th Street, Bronx, New York.

Aventura Hospital Opening Jewish Hospitality Room.

Aventura Hospital and Medical Center will open a new Jewish Hospitality Room for Jewish patients and visitors to fulfill their religious obligations during the Sabbath, Jewish holidays and other occasions. To celebrate the Hospitality Room’s debut, a ceremony and reception has been planned for Thursday, December 4, at 5:30 p.m.

Located on the seventh floor of the hospital’s North Tower, the Jewish Hospitality Room will offer kosher food, separate meat and milk microwaves and sinks, prayer books, tefillin, comfortable furniture and attractive surroundings. Disposable plates and utensils, along with a computer and telephone will also be available to anyone who might need to use the room.

The Jewish Hospitality Room is a joint project of the Greater Miami Jewish Federation, The Yehuda Memorial Center of New York and the Gesher Tzedaka Foundation.
